Even with all the success SAID NGO has achieved in raising awareness about CRC, more work has to be done. Aid Lebanon has no limitations when it comes to assisting those in need, and we are confident that by working together, we will be able to achieve our goals. We never fail in taking responsibility to advocate for truly lifesaving campaigns that align with our beliefs and resonate with our mission.
Today, more than ever, marks a day where our help is needed. After becoming official partners with SAID NGO, we have gained insight about the on-the-ground situation with respect to CRC in Lebanon. It has come to our attention that worldwide help is needed, and as soon as we heard that SAID NGO is planning to host a walkathon, we were all in!
The 26th of March, 2022, will be a day to remember! It shall be a day to commemorate the willingness and commitment of the Lebanese people to keep fighting for what they believe and what they love. This walkathon is no short of this statement; it represents a firm position from SAID NGO and Aid Lebanon that help is never out of reach.
We dedicate this day to the people battling CRC, and we want to make it loud and clear through the streets of our beloved Beirut that we are beside you and that you can do it! This walk is for everyone fighting today! It’s for these marvelous people to remember that they have our support, love, and appreciation.
SAID NGO has made it clear from the beginning: You will not be left alone! Aid Lebanon has made it a commitment to help whenever and wherever we can! This leads me into a quote by our President and CEO Mr. Melhem said: “It's your road and your journey alone if you're fighting cancer. Others may walk beside you, but no one can walk for you. But WE will walk beside you no matter what.”
This quote lies at the heart of our mission as an organization. We hope that through such an initiative, we’ll comfort the hearts of every Lebanese person in need and let them know that we will continue to relentlessly fight for their social, mental, and physical well-being.
With that being said, I hope SAID NGO all the best in these tumultuous times. Lastly, this is only the beginning of great things to come over the horizon
