It is with mixed emotions that we announce a significant change in our leadership. After years of dedicated service and tireless commitment, our esteemed Board Chairwoman, Miss Maria El Khoury, has made the decision to step down from her role. Maria's guidance, vision, and unwavering support have been instrumental in steering Aid Lebanon towards its noble mission, and her contributions will forever be appreciated and remembered.
As we bid farewell to Maria in her capacity as Board Chairwoman, we also announce the appointment of Nehme Melhem, our President and CEO, who will step in as the Interim Chairman of Aid Lebanon. Nehme brings with him a wealth of experience, a deep understanding of our organization's values, and a passion for serving our community.
During this transition period, Nehme will lead with the same dedication and commitment that has defined our organization under Maria's guidance. He will ensure a seamless continuation of our programs and initiatives, maintaining our unwavering commitment to aiding and supporting those in need across Lebanon.
The Board of Directors is actively engaged in the process of identifying a new Chairperson who will carry forward the mission and values that define Aid Lebanon. We are committed to a thorough and transparent selection process to find an individual whose leadership aligns with our organization's goals and aspirations.
Throughout this period of change, our focus remains steadfast on our mission - to provide aid, support, and hope to the communities we serve. We are immensely grateful for your ongoing support and understanding during this transition.
