Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am delighted to announce a significant initiative at Aid Lebanon in recognition of Pink October, also known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As the President and CEO of Aid Lebanon, I believe it is our responsibility to support vital causes that impact the health and well-being of our community, and breast cancer awareness is one such cause that deserves our full attention.
To demonstrate our unwavering commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer, Aid Lebanon will be changing our logo for the entire month of October. We will proudly feature a pink ribbon, the universal symbol of breast cancer awareness, alongside our logo. This emblem serves as a reminder of our dedication to the cause and our solidarity with those affected by this disease.
In addition to our visual commitment, we are excited to announce that Aid Lebanon will be hosting a symposium this month. This event will bring together experts, survivors, and advocates to discuss the latest updates and developments in the fight against breast cancer. Our aim is to increase awareness, share knowledge, and foster a sense of community in the face of this significant health challenge. Stay tuned for more details on this important event, which we encourage you to participate in.
Furthermore, we are launching a fundraising campaign with a goal of $2,000. These funds will be dedicated to providing breast cancer screenings to individuals who may not have access to regular healthcare services. Early detection is crucial in the fight against breast cancer, and your support can make a real difference in saving lives.
We kindly invite you to join us in this meaningful endeavor by making a donation towards our $2,000 goal. (https://www.aidlebanon.org/pinkoctober) Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly impact our ability to provide vital screenings to those in need.
Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. Let us stand as a united front, raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and offering support to all those who are touched by this disease.
Thank you for your continued support, and let us work hand in hand to make a lasting impact during Pink October and beyond.
