Antimicrobial resistance has become a growing concern worldwide, threatening the effective treatment of once susceptible microorganisms. In Lebanon, antimicrobial resistance has significantly increased the costs of healthcare and furthered the burden on patient's health. With the overuse or misuse of antibiotics being the most important factor leading to such resistance, Aid Lebanon believes it is essential to reach out and involve experts on this issue in order to share knowledge regarding this growing phenomenon.
